UMIKA is an AI-powered virtual assistant operated by ngoclin.h_ at umika.ngoclinh.org. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over it.

Using UMIKA means you're okay with the practices described here.

When you create an account or use the Service, we may collect:

• Account: Email address and hashed password, or basic profile info (name, avatar) via Google OAuth
• Device: IP address and basic browser/device info for security and abuse prevention
• Content: Chat messages you send, stored to enable chat history
• Preferences: Display name, nickname, and any preferences you set in your profile

• To run the Service — authentication, chat history sync
• To personalize AI responses based on your nickname and preferences
• To monitor for abuse, spam, or security threats
• To improve the Service over time

Your chat messages are sent to these providers to generate AI responses:

• Anthropic Claude API — Anthropic Privacy Policy ↗
• Groq Inference API — Groq Privacy Policy ↗

Only message content is sent for inference — your email or password is never shared with these providers.

• Account data and chat history are stored in Cloudflare D1, a secure cloud database
• Sessions use encrypted HTTP-only cookies with a 7-day expiry
• You can delete your chat history at any time from within the app
• Account deletion: email work@ngoclinh.org — processed within 30 days

We use a single secure HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies — that's it.

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
